The overall class objectives are to minimize age-related physical deterioration, improve health-related and skill-related physical fitness components to increase functional activities for daily living, and increase a person’s sense of well-being in a group exercise setting.
Goals of the classes are to improve overall fitness, promote health education, especially as it relates to health status issues, and encourage social interaction in a group setting. The focus of the classes is to increase muscular strength and endurance and range of motion, resulting in functional improvements in posture, balance, weight transfer activities, coordination, agility and body awareness. Your instructors will receive training and follow-through offered by no other organization in the country. Older-adult instructor training courses, evaluations, continual feedback, and continuing education in older-adult fitness are standard in the curriculum.

Conditioning

Senior Cardio
Get up and go with an aerobics class that’s safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.
BODYPUMP
Les Mills BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. You will get toned, build strength and work all the major muscles. Trained instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
Interval
Our Interval Class is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind before the busy days get started. Modifications for all fitness levels are provided.
